No edge
Today I remembered what it was like to be seven years old and growing up in Jersey at this time of year. The pink puffy pom pom trees are blooming. My sister and I would make pink puffy bouquets with the flowers. The birds were singing on and on. It was 75 degrees and I was walking my dog. It was the perfect day and the weather made the moment.

The first post
An article about nothing.
I was in the gym today, getting ready to quickly turn my physical misery into a memory by washing away the salty sweat and enjoying my Boot's lemon and grapefruit body wash, when I started eavesdropping on an older lady who was in the mood to chit-chat with her naked neighbor.
She was all up-in-arms about the fact that certain fashion styles should not make a come back, such as the baby doll dress. Or the t-shirt that ties in a knot below the waist a la Frankie Goes to Hollywood "RELAX". Or what about the MAXI DRESS? Isn't it really a Muu-muu that goes to your ankles?
I couldn't disagree with her but then she really dated herself by mentioning that not only does she not understand today's fashion trends, but she doesn't understand blogs. "How do you even find a blog?", she asked. The now dressed twenty-something neighbor said she had no idea.
That's when I realized, I have always had the same question. How the heck do you blog and why?
Does anybody really read it? Perhaps I have something to say.
Or maybe, more importantly, someone else has something to say in response to my musings.
And so begins this experiment.
